Please allow me to introduce myself. I am Deborah. 51 years old and a self taught artist. Born in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire. A mother to 7 beautiful children, and Grandmother to 7 amazing little monsters.

I took up drawing after the loss of my sister. Which, as you can imagine was a difficult time for all of us, and drawing became my release, my therapy really. Being dyslexic, also meant that words were never my strong suit, thankfully though, i discovered that i could tell my story through my art.

I decided to take the plunge in 2022 and become a professional artist. The prospect of running my own business and putting my work out there for all to see was and still is terrifying, but i am cherishing every moment, and loving it so far.

My preferred mediums to use are graphite and now acrylic paints. But I can also dabble in watercolour, wood burning and ink.
